2008
In order to keep the approved Florida Coastal Management Program (FCMP) current, it
is necessary to periodically update the statutes which make up the
program after legislative amendments have occurred. This routine program
change submission
seeks to update all statutes which make up the FCMP. This submission will incorporate all changes to the referenced
statutes which were enacted during 2008. Analysis reveals
that these changes will have no effect on the state’s ability to manage
the state’s coastal resources. In addition, after these changes the FCMP
will continue to comply with Section 306 of the Coastal Zone Management
Act of 1972.
A description and analysis of each statute is
included in this submission. Staff has evaluated these changes pursuant to
15 CFR 923.80 and concluded that the changes involved are not amendments.
Therefore, the state is submitting these as a routine program change as
required by 15 CFR 923.84.
